What Is Coolpeel CO₂?
This laser system can emit CO₂ pulses as short as 60 milliseconds, helping to minimise excess skin heating. Each laser pulse targets surface-level skin imperfections and may help reduce common side effects such as redness, swelling, discomfort, and downtime.

CoolPeel’s CO₂ fractionated laser is intended to stimulate the body’s natural healing response, which may promote new collagen growth in the skin’s surface. Unlike traditional CO₂ laser treatments, this method is engineered to limit heat exposure to surrounding tissues.
The healing process may assist in reducing the appearance of lines, wrinkles, scarring, and surface irregularities. Results vary from person to person.
Most people benefit from 3 to 5 CoolPeel CO₂ sessions spaced around a month apart. Some individuals may notice improvements after the first session, with further changes typically observed within 2 to 3 months. This timeframe allows the skin to respond and begin collagen and elastin production. Treatment outcomes vary based on skin type, lifestyle, and other factors.
The CoolPeel CO2 laser procedure takes approximately 5-15 minutes. A cold air blower helps with any discomfort. A thick post-laser lotion is applied to the treated area after the procedure, and ice can be used to cool the skin and reduce potential swelling.
A full-face CoolPeel CO2 treatment can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes.

CoolPeel CO₂ is designed to minimise downtime compared to traditional CO₂ lasers. You may experience mild redness—similar to a light sunburn—for a day or two, but most individuals are able to resume their normal daily activities shortly after treatment. As the skin heals, it may feel dry or slightly scaly, so it’s important to keep it well-hydrated.
The treatment area will be gently cleansed on the day of treatment. A thick post-laser lotion is applied following your treatment. The skin will appear red post-treatment.
The following day your skin will be less red and may have a rough texture.
By day two, the skin may start to peel. A gentle moisturiser can be used to keep the skin hydrated.
The results from CoolPeel CO₂ vary between individuals and depend on factors such as skin condition, lifestyle, and aftercare. While some benefits may be long-lasting, new skin changes may develop over time, and maintenance treatments could be required.
